UPDATE — March 24, 2020

We remain open. In accordance with the state of Ohio, Jerico Plastic is considered an essential business.

Contingency plans ensure that open and future orders will be processed in a timely manner.

We here at Jerico Plastic Industries Inc. want to assure you that we are doing all we can to mitigate the spread of the novel coronavirus known as COVID-19, while still being available for all products, solutions, and expertise we have to keep our industry moving. As we continue to monitor the latest updates and information about the global COVID-19 outbreak, we are taking additional measures to ensure we safeguard the health of our employees and preserve our ability to operate.

In accordance with the state of Ohio, we have been deemed an essential business and will continue a fully staffed production, while employees capable of working remotely have been asked to do so in order to limit any unnecessary interaction in the workplace. We have also instituted safety precautions to align with what the CDC has recommended concerning sanitation, hygiene, and distancing. We understand that during this time some companies have changed their hours of operation and receiving hours in hopes of limiting exposure as much as possible. Jerico Plastic Industries supports the precautions companies have put into place to limit any unnecessary interaction and we will continue to work to give the best quality, service, and excellence we can during these times. In order to best assist your company, please email Brandi Frey with updated information regarding your operating and receiving hours, and with any comments, concerns, or questions you might have.

Thank you for supporting and rallying around each other during such an unpredictable time.

The safety during COVID 19 remains a first priority at Jerico. The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has likely had an impact on all of us in some way, and we are continuing to monitor this evolving situation closely.

As we learn more each day, we want you to know that Jerico Plastic has implemented immediate steps to minimize the impact of COVID-19 and ensure that the safety of our customers and associates remains a priority during COVID 19. We are following guidelines laid out for us by the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization on steps we can all take to minimize the spread of the virus. As such, Jerico has equipped our offices and manufacturing facilities with additional cleaning supplies and hand sanitizer. Our associates have been advised to follow a safety protocol of regular handwashing and ongoing sanitization of surfaces, minimal physical contact, and staying home if they feel unwell. We are asking all associates to seek appropriate medical attention if they have symptoms.

For the foreseeable future, we will not allow any unscheduled visitors into our building. We are encouraging employees to maximize the usage of available technology by using telephone and video conferences instead of in-person meetings.

We also have contingency plans in place to ensure that open and future orders will be processed in a timely manner. We will work with our suppliers to ensure any possible delays are communicated, should they arise.

As with everyone, we are unaware as to how long these temporary changes will be in effect, but we appreciate your patience as we work through this issue using all available information. Please Contact Us with any concerns.

Sincerely,

Jerico Plastic Industries Inc.
