Currently seeking qualified candidates for Quality Manager position to oversee daily operations in the quality lab, including developmental work, and provide technical support and experimental design for new business development.

The position is required to ensure adherence to ASTM, ARM, and ISO guidelines for quality testing as required.

Position Responsibilities:

Research and Development

• Evaluate potential new business opportunities
• Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing Managers
• Collaborate on marketing campaigns for new business and formulation
• Collaborate with CSR Manager
• Works to solve field issues/customer concerns

Quality Management

• Supervise lab technicians 
• Corrective action reports – facilitation of data acquisition and stakeholder accountability.
• Work with Customer Relations Rep for initial color match to customer requirements
• Responsible for production color control and color matching
• Standardization of all QA testing and protocols
• Scheduling/performing maintenance and calibration for lab equipment and instruments.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biology or equivalent  
• Polymer Science and Polymer Engineering preferred, but not required
• 5+ years of experience in an experimental laboratory setting
• 5+ years of QA Leadership experience or equivalent
• In-depth knowledge of ASTM, ARM, and ISO guidelines for materials in the rotational molding industry
• Ability to integrate; ISO9001 and ISO14001 for documentation and program tracking
• Proficient with Minitab Software for SQC or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred but not required

Salary: $75,000 – $85,000
